Born in Michigan, raised in the San Fernando Valley, for the last 15 years, Drew
has lived, played, and raised a family in and around Venice, California. After

his work on Elmo & the Orchestra. He was a V.P. at Sony Music before making the

at Northwestern University where he co-founded and
directed the Creative Writing program and served as editor of the prestigious
literary journal TriQuarterly. From there he took his creativity to California
where he headed up a film development company in San Francisco and Los Angeles
with his two partners, a company which they later took public. He moved to
Venice in 1985 and for the next several years made his living as a successful
screen and television writer. Elliott's real estate career began in 1994 when he
started managing commercial properties here on Abbot Kinney Blvd, including the
1422 building. He sold the building to Suzy Frank in 2003 which began his tenure
at Abbot Kinney Real Estate.
